Second Annual Melbourne SMSF Conference

Conference,Superannuation and SMSF audit,Second Annual Melbourne SMSF Conference
Thursday 2 & Friday 3 April 2020

Crown Promenade Hotel, Melbourne

.   .

Our annual SMSF conference (held at the Gold Coast in September every year) draws SMSF advisers from across the country. It is one of our most popular conferences and that is why we are repeating this event in Melbourne in April 2020 for all those who couldn’t get to the Gold Coast.

The SMSF industry has seen a raft of significant changes over the last few years, and the changes keep on coming. Our two-day conference reflects on the new super landscape and the practical lessons we can learn, with a focus on TBAR reporting requirements, the total super balance, as well as claiming exempt current pension income. It also examines key death benefit issues, including challenging trustee discretion, the efficacy of BDBNs, and dealing with errant executors.
