Charlie Young, Director, Bennett & Philp, Brisbane

Charlie Young is a director of Bennett & Philp Lawyers’ Disputes & Litigation team and heads the firm’s Elder Abuse Law and Estate Litigation specialist practice.

For over 10 years, Charlie’s practice has included representing persons experiencing (or persons who have already experienced) elder abuse, including financial abuse and neglect, and giving advice on the types of steps that can be taken to mimimise the risk of elder abuse. His experience includes pursuing attorneys, administrators and other persons who’ve taken advantage of elderly persons, whether that be through the Courts or QCAT, for compensation or other forms of relief.

Charlie also has a vast amount of experience in trust, estate and Will disputes while maintaining his commercial litigation and property dispute practice.
