Alistair is the Managing Director of Corney & Lind Lawyers. He was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory in 2001 and has experience in the ACT, NSW and QLD jurisdictions.  Prior to working in private practice, he was also a solicitor with the Australian Federal Police and a criminal prosecutor.

Alistair is responsible for leading the Firm’s litigation and dispute resolution teams, and in this capacity regularly advises school leaders and boards on the range of legal issues they confront.  He has a particular focus on industrial relations and discrimination disputes. 

Separately to his legal practice, he is currently a board member of Queensland Baptists, an entity responsible for the governance of various schools throughout Queensland.  In this role, he has also been a part of the steering committee responsible for preparing the response of the QB Movement to the National Redress Scheme.
