Simone Herbert-Lowe, Director, Law & Cyber, Sydney

Simone is the legal practitioner director of Law& Cyber, which provides legal advice for businesses impacted by cyber events and cyber education services. Simone has over 25 years’ experience in the law having specialised in insurance litigation across most of her career. She is a regular contributor on the topic of professional risk in legal journals including the Law Society of NSW Journal and the Australasian Law Management Journal, and she is the creator and presenter of a range of online courses on cyber risk. Law & Cyber’s course Cyber Risk for Lawyers has been recommended for use by LPLC for all of its insured law firms in Victoria.   In previous roles Simone managed over 2,000 professional indemnity notifications by lawyers. She was the Manager, Strategy & Innovation and cyber risk subject matter expert for Lawcover in NSW and managed the company’s portfolio of claims involving cyber incidents and email fraud.
