Shared occupancy arrangements, such as short-term rental accommodation and holiday letting, have impacted on traditional property ownership rights, leading to an increasing number of disputes and litigation, and highlighting the inadequacies of the current regulatory framework.  The result is that the New South Wales Government is proposing reforms to planning, strata and consumer protection legislation.  In this program, Natalie Bryant, from Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Sydney, looks at the major legal issues that have arisen, the implication for landlords, hosts and other parties, and what is being proposed by the New South Wales Government.
